teams-cli is me dragging Microsoft Teams into the terminal where I'm happiest. It's a TUI styled after irssi and weechat — channels in a sidebar, a clean message buffer, keyboard-driven everything — so chat feels like the IRC I grew up on instead of a heavyweight desktop app.

It does real-time push via Microsoft's Trouter WebSocket, so messages arrive live rather than on a polling loop. It's my daily driver for staying reachable without keeping the official client open.
