The Gentle Apocalypse is my split-screen cooperative tower defense game for iPad. Two players defend their pastoral maps — and their geese — from an invasion of aliens who are unfailingly polite and maddeningly bureaucratic about the whole thing. It’s an apocalypse with manners.
I’m building it in Unity as a genuinely two-player, sit-side-by-side experience: shared maps, split-screen, and the cozy chaos of co-op tower defense. The “save the geese from the aliens” pitch makes people smile, which is exactly the tone I’m going for.
